Guess who’s back with a pc?

The tabliods called it right, Angelina is having twins! At first I was a little sceptical of this ‘news’ but when I saw it come from her mouth at the Kung Fu Panda Press Conference on E.T today, I was really happy. That will bring her ‘rainbow’ family to 6 children. Angelina has said that she will keep the sexes of both babies a secret but E! Online reports that the due date is August 19th. At this conference she also said that she may have the babies in France as the kids are learning the language so it is good for them to be there at the moment. So exciting!

Meanwhile, Angelina is currently in Cannes to promote Kung Fu Panda with her co-stars and she is dazzling the red carpet. While I’m not too keen on her white dress for the Photo Call (looks too much like a sack for me) I thought she looked absolutely beautiful in the green dress for the Premiere. I bet the kids were jealous of the big panda their mum got to hang out with on the carpet

Sadly Angelina didn’t win the award for Actress of the Year for A Mighty Heart at the London Critics Circle Film Awards on Friday. The award went to Marion Cotillard.

The nominations for the 2008 Sony Ericsson Empire Awards are in! Fans vote for what they want and they have nominated Angelina for Best Actress Angelina Jolie (A Mighty Heart). The winners will be announced on Sunday, March 9. Good luck, Angie!

A big update today, guys. Angelina has been to two events plus received an award.

Firstly, on the 27th of January Angelina went to the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards with Brad. Initially I wasn’t a fan of the dress but it has grown on me since and I like it now. The colours suit her and her simple hair and make up go well with it.

Secondly, Angelina is crowned with a SBIFF Award award: Outstanding Performance of the Year Award in recognition for her work in ‘A Mighty Heart.’

Which brings is to the 32nd Santa Barbara Film Festival held on the 2nd of February. Angelina picked up the above award at this event. I can’t say I’m a fan of this outfit at all but she does look pretty

Sadly Angelina has missed out on a BAFTA nod. From Variety. Com:

There were some notable omissions. If Angelina Jolie were British, she would surely have figured in for her performance in local helmer Michael Winterbottom’s “A Mighty Heart.”

Unfortunately Angelina didn’t win the Golden Globe for 2008 The award went to Julie Christie instead.

I’m only going to post about this once-and once again if and when it’s revealed to be true-but there is a lot of buzz around at the moment that Ms. Jolie is pregnant. At her most recent event I could kind of agree but I don’t want to jump on the band wagon and speculate. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Angelina has come in at #4 on Mr Blackwell’s infamous best dressed list. She was no where to be seen on the worst list. Go Angie!

Also, Angie isn’t upset over the Globes cancellation. She says, “I’m not [upset],” she told reporters at the Critic’s Choice Awards in L.A. last night. “I’ll just be home with my kids. It’s all right.”, according to USMagazine. We’ll still be rooting for you, Angie!

The 2008 Golden Globes have been ‘cancelled’, it was announced two days ago. Instead, the following will take place:

At 7pm NBC will air Dateline with clips and interviews with nominees. (Currently scheduled to air for two hours on Saturday night.)

At 8pm, NBC is in talks with Dick Clark Enterprises for a one-hour retrospective/clip show.

At 9pm there will be a press conference covered by NBC News announcing the Golden Globe winners. (9pm-10pm)

At 10pm NBC will broadcast an “Access Hollywood” style, Golden Globes party show… visiting the various parties in Hollywood.

Somewhat disappointing, don’t you agree? Be sure to tune in on Sunday, January 13 at 9-10pm to hear if Angie wins or not.
